50+ year Plant City tradition is a contest held for girls 8-10 years old who reside in the Plant City area to showcase their personalities.

The girls are judged on personality during a back stage interview with out-of-town judges.  On stage they are judged for poise, appropriate dress, grooming, and stage presence.

Little Miss Plant City, a First Maid and three Court Members are chosen from the contestants.  The winners participate in the Strawberry Festival Grand parade, Youth parade and Christmas parade as well as attending various other community events throughout the year.

A registration fee is charged and tickets for the event are sold.

Programs and refreshments are sold on the night of the contest.

Club participation includes planning, registration, putting programs together, selling ads, getting donations, decorating the stage, sale of tickets and refreshments, hosting, and other backstage duties to help the event run smoothly. Profits from the Little Miss Plant City event go towards our Annual Shoe Project and various community service efforts.
